About
Diarmait Grogan is an Irish artist currently based in Dublin. His photographs have been exhibited internationally, including solo exhibitions in Ireland and Germany.
Grogan's practice exists at the intersection of documentary, personal narrative and self-expression. In his work he is drawn both to the mysterious and the mundane, refracting experience through the prism of his own subjectivity. He combines personal elements with unstructured everyday occurrences to create non-linear narratives that are concerned less with an external reality than with highlighting 'fragmentary moments of interior significance'.
